WHAT?

Each entrant* receives a free Santa suit as part of their entry fee. Kids under 13 will get a Santa hat instead of a Santa suit.

The courses are kept easy so everyone can finish with minimal training and are highly visible for maximum impact.

Santa suits are provided as part of your entry, and past years there have been awesome outfits including elves, Rudolph and other festive characters.

Santa suits are adult one size fits all sizing. Santa suits are men’s (trousers) or ladies (skirt), top, hat, belt and beard. Kids under 13 years will get a Santa hat. Santa suits are collected on the event day.

WHY?

Our recipient charity is KidsCan with proceeds from the event going to ensuring all Kiwi kids affected by poverty can look forward to a brighter future.

Started in 2008 by Lactic Turkey Events, the Santa Run has grown from an Auckland only event, to having Santa Runs at the same time and date in Whangarei, Auckland North (Albany), Auckland West (Henderson), Auckland South, Auckland Central, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Hastings, Palmerston North, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Gisborne, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Wanaka and Invercargill. Last year there were over 4,000 Santa’s nationwide and this year we add Blenheim – a total of 18 venues around the country!

So what are you waiting for! Enter as an individual or grab a bunch of mates and enter as a team.

WHO ARE KIDSCAN?

KidsCan firmly believe education equals opportunity, but for the 260,000 Kiwi kids who miss out on the basics, like three meals a day and adequate clothing, getting to school and staying focused can be a real struggle.

The charity was founded in 2005 and today supports the education of thousands of disadvantaged New Zealand children in 430 low decile schools nationwide. KidsCan provide tangible programmes that concentrate on giving the basics such as food, clothing, shoes, healthcare and basic hygiene items directly to those children who are in need in partnership with the school they attend.

SANTA SUITS:

Santa suits are adult one size fits all sizing. Santa suits are mens (trousers) or ladies (skirt), top, hat, belt and beard. You will be asked to choose mens or ladies when you enter. Santa suits are provided on a first in first served basis.

Kids under 13 years will get a Santa Hat instead of a Santa suit.

Santa suits are collected from registration on event day. Feel free to bring some scissors to make them more appropriate to a NZ summer Christmas!
